I’ve worked in support roles since I was 16 years old, supporting people with a wide range of disabilities and non-disabilities. Working inclusively has always been at the heart of what I do.
Before opening the studio, I worked at inclusive international dance festivals, delivering workshops that brought together disabled and non-disabled dancers. My role focused on helping people understand how to work confidently, creatively and respectfully between different bodies — adapting movement, communication and activities so everyone could take part fully.
This background means I’m very comfortable adapting pottery sessions for:
dementia
Parkinson’s
physical disabilities
mobility needs
cognitive impairments
Sessions are always patient, encouraging and paced gently so every resident can enjoy a calm, positive creative experience.
