THIS IS A EXMOUTH PRIDE EVENT THE WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD IN MANOR GARDENS IN THE CHILDRENS AREA, PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARRIVE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE WORKSHOP START TIME IN ORDER FOR EVERYONE TO GET SETTLED, COLLECTION OF POTS IN 6-8 WEEKS TIME FROM THE WORKSHOP WILL BE FROM OUR POTTERY STUDIO ON ROLLE STREET. ALL INFORMATION REGARDING COLLECTIONS WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU ONCE THE POTS ARE READY.
join me for a 2-hour masterclass where you'll make your very own personalised mug. You’ll be talked through various ceramic processes including pinch, coil and slab techniques as well as surface decoration before getting stuck in and trying them for yourself. Whether you’re an absolute beginner, keen to give something new a go, or have used clay before, come get creative and try out all the new techniques. Once you have finished making your piece there will also be an opportunity to paint your items using coloured underglaze. This workshop is a perfect excuse to get together with friends, get your hands dirty and have tons of fun!
After the class your creations will stay with me for approximately 6-8 weeks, to allow time for them to fully dry, be bisque fired in a kiln, glazed in a food safe transparent glaze and then finally glazed fired before being returned to you. All clay, tools, materials and firing costs are included within the price. All you’ll need is yourselves, trimmed fingernails and a bottle of your choosing!

I am only able to keep your work for a maximum of two months after collection emails have been sent due to space restrictions, so please do ensure you get in touch as soon as possible to arrange collections/postage.
